Ethno is a global project for folk musicians in the age ranging from fifteen to thirty years. It consists of summer camps, and has been arranged in countries like Belgium, Croatia, India, Cypros, Czech Republic, England, Estonia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Uganda and Palestine. In 2014, JM Norway arranged the first Norgegian gathering, at the Ole Bull academy in Voss.

Through a combination of workshops, jamsessions, seminars and performances, the partakers  get the possiblility to share their traditional music and learn others'. The projects is a part of Jeunesses Musicales' international music program, and gathers participants from countries with different musical backgrounds. The program therefore gives unique possibilities of getting familiarized with new people and new music traditions. In 2015, Ethno was arranged on the stunning island Rørstad outside of Bodø in Northern Norway.
