KulturIntro connects young refugees with cultural institutions and a variety of festivals in the Oslo area. Through these connections, participants are offered opportunities to engage in cultural activities and receive free tickets to cultural events.

The participants are between 18 and 29 years old and live in Oslo municipality. Their main daytime activities include upper secondary school (“videregående skole”), the introduction program for refugees, or adult education. KulturIntro offers activities and volunteer opportunities in the evenings, on weekends, and during holidays.

Our project provides a unique arena to practice Norwegian in real-life settings, attend free leadership courses, workshops and develop skills that support active participation in cultural and social life.
