Through the project Parkert Piano (directly translated: parked paino) we brought pianos to public spaces all over Norway. The instruments where available for all passersby, aiming to create small musical spaces and unexpected music experiences where one least expects them. The pianos where also to be avaiable for young performers and meant to lower the barriers of playing an instrument in front of an audience.
The project was active from 2015 to 2020.
The project is initiated by JM Norway and financed by The Savings Bank Foundation DNB.
